Position Overview:

As an Accounts Assistant/Intern at Mavin Accountants, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and finance. You will work closely with our experienced team of professionals to support our clients' financial needs and contribute to the overall success of the firm. This position offers a unique learning experience and exposure to real-world accounting practices.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Process invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial transactions.
• Contribute to data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively with clients when required.
• Stay up to date with accounting regulations and industry trends.

 Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field/ Pursuing ACCA degree.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute proactively.
